BMS wanted to engage its talent on the subject of innovation to support the transformation of its French subsidiary into a smarter, quicker and more agile company with regard to its launches of innovative medical products. To mobilise its employees around this cultural transformation, BMS worked with emlyon to create a 100% tailor-made programme based on action learning.

Teaching methods
- A comprehensive overview, with a presentation by a coach. Participants were able to request 2 coaching sessions to further their personal development.
- A 3.5-day module to launch the programme, to create group cohesion, to focus on the first topics of leadership and collective performance, to begin work on BMS projects and to set a benchmark.
- A 3-day module on strategy and the concepts of value creation and strategic analysis, applied to BMS projects.
- A 2-day module summarising the design thinking approach, with a theory class and practical application to BMS innovation projects.
- A 2.5-day module on communications, including dramatic improvisation and application to BMS projects.
- A half day to give team presentations to management on the various innovative proposals for BMS.
