Whether you are an employee, looking for a job or self-employed, there are several types of assistance and financing available for your training project.

Below is an overview of the main measures in force.

A breakdown of these different schemes is entirely possible and the fees can be spread over 2 years, depending on the duration of the chosen program.

  • Individual Training Account - CPF

The Individual Training Account is a system that allows you to acquire training rights that can be used throughout your professional life. Since the 1st of January 2019, the CPF is now based on euros and is no longer supplied in hours: €500/year (capped at €5,000) and €800/year (capped at €8,000) for unskilled employees (diploma below level 5).

The training can take place on:

- Working time: compulsory agreement of the employer

- Outside working hours: does not require the employer's agreement

For non-employed workers (self-employed workers, members of the liberal professions and non-employed professions, artists, authors or collaborating spouses),  the Individual Training Account will be supplied in 2020 with 2018 and 2019 activities. For any questions, please contact the Training Insurance Fund (FAF) (determined according to the nature of the activity).

Any holder of the Individual Training Account may benefit from employer or OPCO contributions.

To find out what rights you have acquired, i.e. the amount available to finance your training with the CPF, you need to create an account on the dedicated website: My activity account.

Training must be certified, eligible for the Individual Training Account and registered to the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Qualifications).
