  • What is your career path?

After an International Marketing DESS, I started to work for CHANEL and occupied different operational marketing positions during 10 years. My family situation led me in Lyon, which is why I had to step down from my duties and to reposition myself on the labor market. Indeed, after spending a decade in the same core business, I needed to decompress and restart a training.

  • Why choose the PGM programme?

emlyon business school  PGM programme offers the possibility to achieve the programme in the form of customizable modules. In February 2009, I started a fixed-term contract at Printemps, the opportunity of the PGM programme therefore perfectly suited to my situation.

  • What were the benefits that derived from the programme?

PGM is a programme with a generalist approach, which allows to open doors and to discover some fields that we did not necessarily know beforehand. The knowledge impact is even more interessant when we are aware of this with the benefit of a little hindsight. «Things get better with time», indeed, taking a little step back about the training allows to enrich it and benefit from it fully. Today, I can say that I am rich from this programme.

  • What were the high moments and your best memories?

Lessons are moments to share experiences, to exchange between the participants and intervenors, from different craft cultures. I think that having the chance to achieve a qualifying programme in school with an international reputation such as emlyon business school  is being lucky to have interesting intervernors with whom we can exchange. Concerning our student body, we were nicknamed « promo CAC43 » with reference to the global economic crisis, it was very enjoyable and the human relations were very strong.

  • Which advice and which messages would you leave to future participants?

Applying for the emlyon business school  PGM programme is having a goal in mind, to develop it and being open to all this programme can bring us. After a 10 years experience I found interesting to update my knowledge, which is important so as to be aware of the evolutions in our core business. Doing the emlyon business school PGM programme is taking a rediscovering and deepening approach of our knowledge. Â
