Campus Paris projection

emlyon business school will be bringing its focus on the
development of entrepreneurs and makers to Paris this September when it
opens a new campus close to the capital’s Gare de Lyon station.

This is a new step in the “New Territories 2020” strategic plan, which aims at reinforce emlyon business school’s globalization, digitalization and performance. The Parisian campus will propose a global environment open to Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States, in close relationship with emlyon business school’s campuses, entrepreneurial platforms and partners in these geographies. It will be also equipped with the latest digital technology and facilities such as the Learning Hub digital library. At least, it will include a business incubator and a FabLab, which have already been pioneered in Lyon itself.

“Our aim is to gradually break down the traditional boundaries between business schools and business itself, between the generations and between local and international”, says Bernard Belletante, Dean of emlyon business school. “And by doing this we aim to shape an environment that is about directly relevant, tailored learning and about genuinely fruitful, dynamic collaboration.”

To develop these innovations, emlyon has signed, in January 2015, a global partnership with IBM. Through the programme “Smarter Business School”, both organizations have created a new learning environment and a new teaching experience, which is a world premiere.

The new campus will offer a wide range of well-established programmes including its Global BBA – a four year programme designed to prepare first degree students for operational management - and specialised Masters in Sports industry Management, Luxury Management and Marketing, Quantitative Finance, as well as for legal business partners.

Additionally, the campus will provide access to emlyon business school’s new Executive MBA. Designed to provide high-potential managers and executives with the tools to succeed in an increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world, this entrepreneurship focused programme will be offered in a 20 month part-time format and also include a learning trip to Shanghai, China.
