Global DBA Degree Programme Launch at emlyon business school Paris campus on May 23, 2018
27 AVRIL 2017
The emlyon business school is proud to announce the launch of its Global Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in its Paris campus on May 23, 2018.
Amongst a number of DBA programmes, the emlyon global DBA offers a distinctive Global approach for professional practice doctorates in business administration. It is run jointly by emlyon business school and a global network of academic partners and emlyon campuses operating in three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. The first intake of this Global DBA will be launched at the emlyon business schoolParis campus on May 23, 2018.
The inaugural workshop will bring together 14 selected DBA candidates from China, Japan and Malaysia with leading faculty from France, China and the UK. The average age of candidate is 45 years old with a senior management experience of more than 10 years and more women (57%) compared to men (43%).
This highly selective programme builds on the earlier collaboration between emlyon business school and Lingnan University College at Sun Yat Sen University (ranked no. 1 in South China from the Times Higher Education) with respect to DBA programme development over the past five years. The collaborative nature of the programme allows candidates to draw on the supervisory expertise and resources of the two schools and to experience European and Chinese cultures.
New exciting partnerships with top world institutions, such as the Durham University Business School (UK) and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) are under way for strengthening supervisory capacities and market reach across large geographical distances. These factors give the programme a distinctive international and ‘glocalised’ zest for learning across all kinds of boundaries (geographical, cultural and disciplinary) making an impact to professional practices and companies worldwide.
